Miller Time

This is a subject I painted during Plein Air Easton. When I painted the same subject matter from a different vantage point the previous year, I was inspired to come back again. I knew this time going there in the morning, I would have the light radiating through the series of windows with the milling blade being back lit. When the judge was talking about this piece, she mentioned that it felt like a large still life painting. So I'm giving the "outdoor still life" category a shot with this one.
